Graduate Software Developer
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate developer to join a fast-paced, ambitious and software product innovative company.
Key elements of the role
• Working as part of our Product Development Team based in Solihull with some travel to client sites.
• Assisting in on-site client assignments to configure our software products to meet their individual requirements (full training will be provided in advance of completing any on-site work);
• Building demonstrations and developing the software in accordance with our development standards and quality procedures;
• Working collaboratively with our product development, marketing and sales staff to assist in achieving our strategic business aims;
• Providing occasional input into product and project design discussions;
• Learning new software technologies and applying them to the benefit of the company.

Member of the Product Development Team
You will use predominantly Microsoft software skills to write code for developing specific areas of our family of products. This involves building new functionality into the product as well as integration with new technologies.
Technical support
The role also involves handling technical enquiries from our existing clients and partners. This aspect of the position provides an effective method for rapidly acquiring an in-depth understanding of our solutions and the way in which they are used. It also provides exposure to handling requests for introducing new features or enhancements. This provides useful input into internal product development discussions regarding deciding whether such requests are realistic and what timescales are involved in developing the required functionality. When such functionality is to be included in the product the progression of tasks is managed within the Product Development team.
Required Skills
Under the guidance of our existing development team, you will be directly involved in developing code using one of more of the following technologies:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft ASP .NET (C#)
• Javascript
• HTML
You will be mentored to ensure that any technical obstacles you encounter can be addressed and used as learning opportunities.
You must possess a degree (minimum 2.1) in a computer-related discipline as well a some experience in a commercial software environment through a University placement or similar.
