Dynistics Encourages Entry into 2010 ICT Excellence Awards

Solihull’s Dynistics Encourages Entry into 2010 ICT Excellence Awards

Highlights marketing & sales benefits of winning an award

Dynistics urges local technology companies to enter the 6th ICT Excellence Awards because of the business opportunities it can generate. The awards, sponsored by the ICT Cluster, honour the best technology companies region wide.

As a previous winner, Dynistics believes there is an abundance of local talent in Solihull and there is huge potential for future success.

“The awards are worthwhile from the perspective of both the entrants and the organisers who are genuinely looking for innovation in the region,” explains Anthony Dent, Managing Director at Dynistics. “Winning at the Awards has been very motivational for the staff. Lots of time and effort went into developing our product so we felt proud to be acknowledged by our peers in the industry. People often mention that they saw us at the awards or congratulate us for winning an award so it's helped us gain respect within the ICT community. One of the spin-off benefits is membership of the ICT Excellence Club which is a great networking opportunity.”

Dynistics was recognised in two categories in the 2009 ICT Excellence Awards with a win in the Best Added Value Product category and a highly commended recognition in the Best Innovative Service, for their highly innovative Active Dashboards technology which helps organisations of all sizes to unlock the full value of information held within their existing software applications. Active Dashboards does this by connecting directly to existing application databases and presenting a real-time visual representation of an organisation’s critical operational information - helping it to make faster, better informed decisions.

The free to enter awards recognise top technology companies for outstanding achievements to the industry. The winners will be announced at an evening awards ceremony following the annual ICT Conference on 25th November 2010, which is being held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill, Solihull.

Categories in this year's Awards are the ICT Excellence Award for Emerging Technologies, Innovation, Best Business Value, Software as a Service (SaaS), Green Technology, International Trade, Knowledge Transfer, Strategic Business Improvement, Strategic Collaboration and the TSB Special Award for High Growth Potential Business. An overall champion will be selected from the winners of each of the ten categories and receive a monetary prize.

The deadline for entries for all categories is Friday 1st October 2010. The Award Entry Forms, Rules & Criteria and FAQs can be accessed online at www.ictexcellenceawards.org
