Dynistics has signed a new deal with Bournville College in order to kit out the fast developing school with dashboard analytics software.
The company will be providing Bournville with its Active Dashboard product, a dashboard analytics software programme which organises information and provides users with graphically illustrated displays to make data easier to understand.
The college says the dashboard analytics software is crucial to monitoring key information such as student numbers, attrition rates and outcomes.
The announcement that the Solihull-based company has gained the new contract comes ahead of Bournville’s move to a new £66m purpose-built campus in 2011.
“Information required to manage the 15,000 students and 450 staff is held in many different software systems across the college making analysis very difficult,” said Mike Dillon the college’s Operations Manager.
“We have the student records system, timetabling, the registration system, financial system and other bespoke databases.
“The management team has been meeting on a fortnightly basis, but daily monitoring of core indicators will be possible with the new software – giving us the ability to drill down at the click of the mouse into the detail from the graphs and charts presented.”
Anthony Dent, Head of Sales of Dynistics, added: “With the move to Active Dashboards, management reporting can be presented on a single screen using graphical displays to give meaning and context to the underlying data and in real time allowing decision making to be up to the minute and more precise.
“It’s great to be working with Bournville College at such a pivotal point in the college’s development – and I’m sure that our dashboard analytics software will help them to grow and become a centre of success.”
